Job Purpose: To perform and document calibration of instruments and equipment installed at the pharmaceutical site in accordance with cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and customer requirements. The role ensures all calibrated instruments meet accuracy and compliance standards critical to pharmaceutical production and quality. Key Responsibilities: Perform on-site calibration of process control instruments such as: Temperature sensors, RTDs, thermocouples Pressure gauges, transmitters, and switches Flow meters (mass, rotameter, etc.) Humidity and temperature data loggers Weighing balances pH, conductivity, level, RPM, vacuum, etc. Ensure calibration is performed as per approved SOPs, master schedules, and work instructions. Coordinate with Quality and Engineering departments at the client site for access and compliance. Maintain proper documentation and generate calibration certificates/reports in line with regulatory norms (21 CFR Part 11, cGMP, WHO, NABL, etc.). Follow site-specific safety, gowning, and documentation protocols. Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and recommend necessary corrective actions. Ensure traceability of standards used (must be NABL-certified or equivalent). Update calibration status stickers and logs at the location of instruments. Support internal and external audits as required.
