As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and organized onboarding process for new employees joining the company. Your role will involve handling various tasks from pre-onboarding to the first day of the new hire, as well as providing assistance with visa and immigration applications when necessary. During the pre-onboarding phase, you will be tasked with sending official offer letters, employment agreements, and any legal documents for signature. Additionally, you will prepare necessary paperwork such as tax forms, direct deposit forms, benefits enrollment forms, and background check consent. Ensuring new hires receive a welcome email with key details about their first day is also part of your responsibilities. On the new employee's first day, you will conduct a company orientation to introduce them to the company's mission, values, culture, and structure. You will assist in completing any pending HR paperwork, provide an overview of available benefits, and guide the employee on how to enroll or make benefit selections. Furthermore, you will be expected to provide visa and immigration application assistance to employees requiring support. This includes advising on suitable visa options, preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications, ensuring compliance with immigration laws, and staying updated on any changes in immigration regulations. The ideal candidate for this role must possess a strong understanding of US laws, excellent communication skills, and a good knowledge of systems like Jobdiva, MSP (Fieldglass, Beeline, etc.). Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
