Role Overview: We are looking for an Executive / Sr. Executive Analytical Lab to ensure the quality and consistency of resin production through analytical testing of monomers, raw materials, in-process samples, and finished resins. The role involves wet chemistry and instrumental analysis, method validation, documentation, and compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards. The candidate will support troubleshooting, customer complaint investigations, and continuous improvement in the QC function. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine QC testing of resin samples (acid value, hydroxyl value, viscosity, solids content, molecular weight, etc.) Perform detailed analyses including purity, functional group analysis, residual monomer testing, GC/HPLC quantification Operate and maintain analytical instruments (GC-FID, GPC, HPLC, DSC, FTIR, viscometers) Execute wet chemistry tests to ensure product conformity to specifications Monitor in-process QC checks to support production consistency Support method development and validation for resin QC Ensure calibration, preventive maintenance, and qualification of laboratory equipment Maintain accurate test records and reports per ISO/GMP/GLP standards Collaborate with production and R&D teams for troubleshooting quality deviations Participate in root cause analysis for customer complaints and suggest corrective actions Ensure adherence to lab safety norms and maintain good housekeeping Assist during internal and external audits Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: M.Sc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline Experience: 4 - 6 years in QC laboratory, preferably in polyester, alkyd, or epoxy resins Technical Skills: Resin QC testing (acid value, OH value, viscosity, solids content, molecular weight distribution) Monomer characterization and residual monomer analysis Hands-on experience with analytical instruments (GC, GPC, HPLC, DSC, FTIR, viscometers) Wet chemistry and resin testing protocols Software Skills: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Personal Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent documentation and reporting skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Good communication and teamwork Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
