You are a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in back-end development. You will be joining the Page Express team in India, working alongside front-end, back-end, and quality engineers in an Agile environment. Your primary focus will be on developing capabilities for business-critical applications within LSEG Workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Java and Node.js, along with a deep understanding of cloud platforms. You should also have a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient software solutions. Page Express (PX) is a Content Management System with low-code/no-code capabilities that enables quick and intuitive application development and content publishing. As part of the team responsible for the full stack, you will design, develop, and maintain back-end systems using Java and Node.js. You will ensure scalability, security, and high performance while writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Additionally, you will participate in system design and architecture, including deploying applications on AWS and Azure platforms and optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance. Your role will also involve project management tasks such as sprint planning, task estimation, and ensuring timely project delivery. You should have at least 5 years of professional experience in software development, proficiency in Java and Node.js, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Knowledge of Document Databases (MongoDB), Relational Databases (Postgres), RESTful API design, micro-services architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is required. Preferred skills include experience in Java Vert.X, knowledge of security and compliance standards, and exposure to serverless architecture and event-driven systems. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
