Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for expediting, project management, inspection, and logistics management. Reviewing project plans and proposals to ensure they meet industry standards and requirements Planning and managing the work of other project managers on staff or managing junior project managers directly Monitoring budgets, schedules, and other key performance indicators to ensure that projects are progressing as planned Managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that each meets its goals within budget and on time Coordinating and prioritising the work of other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Preparing a projects scope statement, including major milestones and tasks, deliverables, and team members involved in the project Estimating how long each step in the project will take and how much it will cost to complete Leading meetings with clients to discuss project details and requirements and to answer questions about the project Developing and implementing strategies for team members to follow throughout the project Project planning, schedule development and maintenance. Management of the progress measurement system and reporting set-up and implementation. Progress / performance evaluation and reporting. Turn-around planning and scheduling and implementation / monitoring. Project budget set-up and cost control. Tender preparation / adjudication ( if any ) Baseline management, resource loading and analysis, progress update and cash flow integration based on earned value methods. Establish and define any job oriented project control procedures and identify the level of resources required to operate them. Establish and agree the level and frequency of reporting required by the project. Establish and communicate cost and schedule baselines and ensure control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance. Review overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective action where necessary. Ensure that all cost, planning and document control reports are prepared and issued in accordance with Project Coordination Procedures. Liaise with all other Departments at all meetings relevant to project operations and ensure time and cost plans are updated to reflect latest information. To excel in this position, you should have 3-5+ years of experience as a Configuration Manager in software development, engineering, or DevOps environments. Strong knowledge of change control processes, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and problem-solving abilities are key requirements. What you'll be doing Patch Management & Deployment: Deploying patches across endpoints and servers, troubleshooting deployment failures, and monitoring patch compliance. BigFix Client Management: Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting BigFix clients on endpoints, ensuring connectivity, and resolving communication issues. Fixlet & Baseline Management: Deploying Fixlets, Tasks, and Baselines for software installations and security updates, monitoring deployment failures, and troubleshooting. OS Deployment & Upgrade: Assisting in OS image deployment using BigFix OSD, deploying Windows 10/11 upgrades, and troubleshooting upgrade failures. Console Administration: Managing user roles and permissions in the BigFix Console, generating reports on system compliance and vulnerabilities. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Resolving client-server communication issues, analyzing logs and error messages, and working with L3 teams for escalated issues. Compliance & Security Enforcement: Ensuring that systems comply with security policies and regulations, such as PCI. System Auditing: Performing regular system audits, including log monitoring, patch reviews, and system alert message reviews. Monitoring Systems: Creating and updating monitoring systems to provide early warnings of potential issues. Communication: Effectively communicating relevant systems-related information to the IT team and superiors. On-Call Support: May be required to provide after-hours on-call support.
