About the role The Site indirect tax lead shall manage India indirect tax compliance for Barry Callebaut at India. The indirect tax lead will work on indirect tax compliance, audit and provisioning functions for Barry Callebaut group . About the role As part of Next Level footprint strategy and supply network optimization, BC has approved recently to build a new Greenfield Chocolate Manufacturing site in West Java, Indonesia. Monitor and Maintain API Connections: Continuously monitor the API connection with the EU Information System to ensure it functions correctly and efficiently. Issue Resolution: Resolve performance or availability issues promptly to ensure timely creation and management of DDS, in accordance with the requirements of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). API Configuration and Management: Ensure the configuration, deployment, and management of other API connections between the EU Information System and Barry Callebaut s systems, where required. Security Implementation: Implement and monitor security measures to secure the API connection. As a DDS Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure Barry Callebaut compliance with the EUDR by managing the Due Diligence Statement (DDS) reporting process. This means following up in a cockpit if all statements were requested and received ahead of reception or shipping. Exception handling and taking contact with power users in the different sites in scope (> 20 sites, mainly in Africa and Europe) to remediate the absence of this data will be key to your function. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE Use the cockpit to check 100% compliance for all sites in scope, both on the inbound and outbound side Ensure timely creation and management of DDS, in accordance with the requirements of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
