This includes strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of quality products, and managing vendor relationships to achieve the company's operational and financial goals.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing:Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, and negotiate contracts.Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.Vendor Management:Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.Resolve any supplier issues and discrepancies.Cost Management:Manage the procurement budget effectively.Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.Conduct regular price comparisons to ensure the company is obtaining the best possible price.Inventory Management:Collaborate with inventory control to develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs.Oversee inventory replenishment and manage stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock.Quality Assurance:Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.Conduct regular quality control audits of suppliers and products.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Identify and mitigate procurement risks through effective risk management strategies.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and savings achieved.Utilize data analytics to inform and support purchasing decisions. Qualifications:Bachelors degree Minimum of 3 years or above experience in procurement, purchasing, Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
