Barcode Assistant

The Barcode Assistant is responsible for generating, printing, and managing barcode labels for materials and finished goods. The role ensures accurate item identification, proper stock tracking, and smooth inventory operations through barcode systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and print barcode labels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Ensure correct item details (item code, description, batch number, date, quantity) are reflected on barcodes
• Attach and verify barcode labels on materials and packages
• Update barcode data in ERP / inventory systems
• Maintain barcode records and reports
• Identify and resolve barcode-related discrepancies
• Support stock verification and audits
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of barcode printers and scanners

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum qualification: Intermediate / Diploma / Graduate (any stream)
• 1–3 years of experience in barcode handling, inventory, or warehouse operations
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control
• Familiarity with barcode systems, scanners, and printers
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP systems)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good coordination and communication skills

Working Conditions

• Warehouse / plant-based role
• Shift duties as per operational requirements

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
