As a Project Designer, you will be responsible for the overall design and coordination of projects and teams. Working closely with Design Managers and project teams, you will contribute to conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production. Your role will involve leading design efforts, presenting to clients, and maintaining client relationships. Collaboration with Design Managers is essential to ensure timely project delivery. You will coordinate with consultants, provide innovative solutions to design challenges, and mentor junior and intermediate design staff. Your responsibilities will include creating graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings, as well as overseeing design development and construction phases. In addition to managing client expectations and team communication, you will participate in office activities, learning programs, and firm marketing efforts. Your involvement in industry events and project interviews will contribute to the firm's visibility and success. Collaborating with design talent within the organization will enhance the overall quality of our work. To succeed in this role, you must possess strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in 2D/3D software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Sketchup, PhotoShop, and InDesign, as well as an understanding of Bluebeam. Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes is crucial, along with excellent presentation, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Maintaining client relationships, particularly in urban, resort, and mixed-use hospitality projects, is key. A Bachelor of Architecture degree, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of building systems are required to excel in this position.
