Position Title: Manager Mechanical maintenance (Bright Bar) Department-Mechanical Maintenance Location: Boisar, Maharashtra Qualification : B.E./B. Tech Mechanical Engineering Experience : 10+ Years Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of mechanical maintenance team Ensure the reliability and availability of all mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Diagnose and resolve mechanical equipment malfunctions, coordinating repairs and replacements as needed. Manage the mechanical maintenance budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation. Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies. Oversee the management of spare parts and materials inventory for mechanical maintenance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory. Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and implement solutions. Manage relationships with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services. Provide training and development opportunities for the mechanical maintenance team. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, engineering) to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities: Project Execution: Supervise day-to-day mechanical project activities related to the rolling mill including erection, alignment, fabrication, piping, and commissioning. Coordinate with design, civil, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration and timely execution. Ensure adherence to project timelines, safety norms, and mechanical design specifications. Participate in and verify machine alignment, leveling, grouting, and foundation activities. Oversee equipment erection for rolling stands, roller tables, gearboxes, loopers, cooling beds, etc. Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate with contractors, fitters, riggers, and fabricators to execute project work during shifts. Monitor and allocate manpower resources efficiently as per the work schedule. Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Liaise with equipment suppliers and installation contractors for technical guidance and compliance. Participate in technical discussions, pre-commissioning checks, and inspections with vendors. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, checklists, equipment log sheets, and project documentation. Report deviations, bottlenecks, and material issues to senior project management. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Enforce safety procedures and use of PPEs on-site. Participate in toolbox talks and safety audits during project execution.

The role involves planning, coordination, and implementation of electrical systems and automation for greenfield and brownfield projects in the Rolling Mill unit. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Lead electrical project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Develop technical specifications and review detailed engineering drawings for all electrical systems (LV/MV/HV). Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and automation teams to ensure integrated project execution. Supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment including transformers, switchgears, motors, drives, and power/control panels. Design & Engineering: Evaluate and finalize SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), cable layouts, earthing layouts, and lighting designs. Ensure compliance with relevant IS/IEC/IEEE standards and best practices. Review and approve designs submitted by contractors and consultants. Vendor & Contractor Management: Float RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial offers, and finalize vendors in coordination with the procurement team. Monitor vendor and contractor performance to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Conduct regular project review meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders. Automation & Controls: Work closely with automation teams to integrate PLC/SCADA systems for process control. Ensure smooth implementation of electrical interfaces for mill drives and control systems. Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to companys safety protocols, electrical safety regulations, and statutory requirements. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments for ongoing electrical project work. Ensure quality inspections and testing protocols are implemented effectively.
