As a SAP ABAP Programmer at ZakApps in Chennai, you will be part of a dynamic team of over 90 professionals dedicated to developing sophisticated solutions that cater to various business needs. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications, with a specific focus on SAP Fiori development. Your expertise in ABAP programming, especially in OOABAP, coupled with 4-6 years of relevant experience, will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and enhancement of SAP Fiori applications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) based on functional specifications and technical guidelines. - Collaborate with functional consultants and UX/UI designers to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and transform them into SAP Fiori applications through ODATA developments. - Engage in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for SAP Fiori, including design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment. - Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP Fiori applications to enhance system performance. - Offer technical support and troubleshoot SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori-related issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams for effective resolution. - Develop and maintain technical documentation such as program specifications, test plans, and user manuals for SAP Fiori applications. - Keep abreast of the latest SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies, tools, and best practices, recommending enhancements to boost system efficiency. - Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming, with a preference for OOABAP. - Profound understanding of ABAP programming concepts, including ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Objects, and BAPI/RFC integration. - Familiarity with SAP development tools and technologies, such as SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC. - Practical experience in developing ODATA projects for FIORI applications. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.,
