Job description: The Community Health Division of Bangalore Baptist Hospital is the implementing agency for the Regional Rehabilitation Centre located in Bangalore Rural District. This is a coordination project with the government and is implemented by Bangalore Baptist Hospital. Currently, we are running 12 Early Intervention Centres across 4 districts. It follows a multidisciplinary approach that includes speech and audiology, psychology, special education, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. We provide quality care in all centres, and all our therapies are offered free of cost. Required Qualifications: MSc in Psychology from a reputed university Proficiency in reading and writing Kannada language At least 2-3 years of work experience in an NGO or related sector/field Kannada Language is required Specific Roles and Responsibilities: Early intervention and rehabilitation Assessing clients' behavior and needs through observation, interviews, and psychometric tests Using IQ inventories such as BKT, BATIA, and Seguin form board Screening for developmental disorders and delays, and planning interventions Rehabilitation of Mental health cases Conducting field and home visits Conducting awareness programs Ongoing assessment and evaluation of progress Preparing documentation in both Kannada and English Preparing case stories Providing family and individual counselling for parents of special children Organizing training and awareness programs Note: Only female candidates will be considered and Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview .
