Job Title: Billing Operator – Banaras Swarn Kala Kendra Pvt Ltd Location: Varanasi (Godowlia, Lahurabir, Paharia, Bhelupur) Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Store Manager / Accounts Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Billing Operator to manage all billing and invoicing tasks at our jewellery store. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate billing, manage customer transactions efficiently, and maintain records as per company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Generate accurate bills and invoices for jewellery sales. Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment methods securely. Ensure billing is done according to price tags, offers, and applicable taxes (e.g., GST). Verify stock codes, descriptions, and weights before billing. Maintain daily sales records and submit end-of-day reports. Coordinate with sales staff to verify item details and pricing. Assist in customer returns or exchanges from a billing perspective. Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and store data. Provide excellent customer service during checkout. Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting regulations. Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Commerce or Accounting is a plus. Prior experience as a billing operator or cashier (preferably in jewellery, retail, or luxury segment). Familiarity with POS software, billing systems, and MS Excel. Basic knowledge of jewellery types, karats, and weight systems is an advantage. Good communication skills in Hindi and English. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Honest, trustworthy, and well-organized. Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, [6 days a week] Compensation: Salary: 12,000 - 15,000 Additional Benefits: Medical Insurance
