The Territory Sales Officer in the Bakery & Foodservice Department is responsible for promoting concept selling through premixes to bakeries and other outlets. Your main goal will be to identify customers, demonstrate products, and emphasize the consistency and convenience they offer. Your key accountabilities will include achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets for your designated area. This will involve meeting value/volume objectives, distribution targets, and adhering to sales policies and strategies. You will be required to visit nominated customers regularly, with the frequency and duration of these visits aligned with the agreed work state and a cost-effective journey plan. Additionally, you will need to create a monthly plan for specified customers to meet volume targets by product group. Your role will also involve expanding the distribution and usage of Bakery & Foodservice products in potential customers, as well as monitoring and evaluating these accounts. It is essential to ensure that all receivables comply with the company's credit policy. To support your sales efforts, you should utilize computer systems to understand the significance of major territory outlets by product group. Maintaining an efficient administrative system including Customer Record cards, Daily call reports, expenses, and work plans is crucial. You will also be responsible for organizing and conducting demonstrations/exhibitions to maximize business opportunities in the Bakery & Foodservice sector. The ideal candidate for this role should hold an MBA in Sales & Marketing and have 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the food/catering/baking industry, the territory to be covered, and the local language is required. You should be motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
