Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to optimize costs. Develop relationships with key vendors and ensure long-term partnerships. Ensure continuous supply of materials while minimizing stockouts and overstocking. 2. Quality & Compliance: Ensure all procured materials meet food safety standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to conduct supplier audits and material inspections. Stay updated with FSSAI, HACCP, and other relevant food safety regulations. 3. Cost & Budget Management: Monitor and control procurement costs while maintaining quality. Prepare cost analysis reports and suggest cost-saving measures. Manage procurement budgets and optimize purchasing efficiency. 4. Inventory & Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with stores and production teams to manage inventory levels. Plan procurement based on production schedules and sales forecasts. Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials.
