Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bakery Chef to join our team and oversee the preparation of high-quality baked goods. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, bake, and present a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts. Develop and test new recipes to expand the bakery menu. Monitor ingredient inventory and place orders as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Supervise and train junior bakers and kitchen staff. Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of baked items. Manage baking schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders. Decorate and finish baked goods using various techniques and tools. Collaborate with management on menu planning and pricing strategies. Stay updated with industry trends and customer preferences. Job Specifications: Proven experience as a Bakery Chef/Pastry Chef. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Creativity and attention to detail in presentation. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
