Position Summary : The Software Engineer role is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about technology and innovation and is looking to join a highly collaborative team. New hires will work alongside the Digital Solutions team to support internal clients, leveraging Microsoft's tech stack using .NET, Blazor (MAUI), Azure, and other modern frameworks to build and maintain future applications including line of business applications, intranet, and company portals. The Digital Solutions team provides development and support to staff on internally developed applications, as well as enhancements to company-supported applications. Requirements: Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages Develop dynamic and user-friendly front-end applications Develop quick and efficient back-end APIs Learn other languages as needed, often to integrate with existing systems Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture Use and adapt existing applications (web-based and console) Create and test software prototypes Utilize Azure Dev Ops pipelines to deploy software through environments Create, deploy, and configure Azure resources as needed to complete development Coordinate with other software professionals and developers Adhere to LBMC’s defined processes and procedures including the firm's policy on privacy and client confidentiality Technical Requirements: Familiarity with the Blazor framework (MAUI preferred), .NET framework, T-SQL, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)) Preferred to write T-SQL queries and procedures for API development Experience using C# .NET Prior experience with Azure and deployment of Azure resources through Azure Dev Ops Knowledge of C# and HTML5/CSS3 (experience with multiple .NET languages preferred) Strong attention to detail Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs Experience developing both front-end websites and APIs
