As an SAP HANA Database Consultant at one of our client's locations in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in various technical aspects to support and enhance the client's systems. Your responsibilities will include message processing, technical incident management, service- and change request management, as well as problem management and root cause analysis. Additionally, you will be involved in installation, patching, and upgrade activities while ensuring performance monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery procedures. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining high system availability, disaster recovery setup, and optimizing System Operation/System Architecture. Collaborating in international teams, you will drive global knowledge transfer, conduct workshops, training courses for customers, and supervise juniors and trainees. Your role will also involve planning, setup, and implementation of technical migration projects, focusing on enhancing product and processes efficiency. To excel in this position, you are required to have a degree in business informatics, computer science, or relevant IT training. Strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and a customer-centric problem-solving approach are essential traits. Your skills should include a good understanding of HANA system architecture, Linux operating system knowledge, HANA Installation and Administration experience, and proficiency in various HANA-related tasks such as backups maintenance, system health checks, and performance analysis. Your role will encompass tasks like HANA Version upgrade, Hana Monitoring, license application, audit log management, user management, troubleshooting database issues, and providing timely solutions for critical incidents. Your ability to handle P1 and P2 related incidents efficiently will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the client's systems.
