Strong understanding of database security best practices, user access controls, encryption, and auditing. Experience managing incident response, including root cause analysis, mitigation planning, and follow-up documentation. Ability to create and maintain detailed runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for repeatable processes and troubleshooting procedures. Comfortable working in hybrid environments, with coordination across on-premises and cloud-based systems.
