Extensive experience (8+ years) in broadcast engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role focused on broadcast playout. Deep knowledge of broadcast playout systems and automation platforms (e.g., Imagine Communications, Broadstream, Grass Valley, Harmonic). Strong expertise in signal flow, video/audio compression standards, IP broadcast workflows, and transmission technologies. Proven track record managing technical teams and complex broadcast operations. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends during critical broadcast operations or emergencies. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud-based playout and OTT delivery systems.
