Backend Software Developer Intern

As a Resident Intern at SigIQ.ai, you will be a high-potential engineer working on building highly scalable backend services for GenAI tutoring systems. You will have the opportunity to work closely with elite engineers and AI researchers to develop production systems. Your role will involve designing infrastructure and APIs that drive real-time, personalized learning experiences while focusing on enhancing performance, observability, and system reliability across deployments. To excel in this role, you must have experience in writing backends using Python, with a preference for Django or FastAPI. Additionally, you should possess a solid understanding of web APIs, caching, databases, and scaling. Familiarity with tools like GitHub actions, CI/CD pipelines, and Webservers is essential, along with proficiency in performance profiling and optimization. A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and commitment to dedicating 25-30+ hours per week for long-term contributions are key qualities we are looking for in a candidate.
