Job Profile:- Were in search of a Senior Back-End Software Engineer that specializes in server-side components In this role, youll primarily work on Node JS, Mongo DB, Python, Typescript, Redis, building scalable products and will bring a depth of knowledge on algorithms and data structures As a Back-End Software Engineer, on any given day you might be architecting new features for our customers, refactoring existing code to be more scalable, and seeing changes through to completion in a live environment. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, contributing to the architecture and implementation of key features. This role requires a strong understanding of backend technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to lead and mentor junior developers, and experience with production support. Responsibilities: Design and Development: Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable backend services using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI. Cloud Infrastructure: Work with AWS services (e.g., Cloudwatch, S3, RDS, Neptune, Lambda, ECS) to deploy, manage, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. Software Architecture: Participate in defining and implementing software architecture best practices, including design patterns, coding standards, and testing methodologies. Database Management: Proficiently work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Neptune) to design and optimize data models and queries. Experience with ORM tools. Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts (primarily in Python) for various tasks, including: Data updates and processing. Scheduling cron jobs. Strong proficiency in Python and at least two of the following frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including ECS. Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Neptune). Experience with ORM tools. Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines. Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools, specifically ELK stack and AWS CloudWatch. Experience providing production support and troubleshooting issues. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience leading and mentoring junior developers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role : We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with at least 3 years experience. You will be an integral part of building the back-end architecture and developing core systems. We are looking for candidates who : - Understand the importance of shipping fast and prioritize rapid iteration. - Have inherent technical curiosity, actively building features/products using the latest tech - Have hands-on experience with scale, having tackled and fixed complex production issues. - Are fearless in shipping to production but confident in quickly resolving any issues that arise. - Have product startup experience, capable of thinking practically from a customer's perspective. - Demonstrate a pursuit of excellence, with real anecdotes of relentless effort toward achieving a goal (professional or personal). Requirements : - 3+ years' experience as a backend engineer. - Expert in Python and Django. - Experienced in Postgres - Good understanding of platforms (Docker, AWS). - Basic understanding of DevOps. - Previous experience architecting and developing back-end systems and an understanding of scalable micro service architecture. - Hands-on attitude and ability to drive solutions to completion
