Backend Engineer Intern

As a Backend Development Intern, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic to ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Your responsibilities will also include conducting research on various third-party integrations and APIs to enhance platform capabilities, as well as assisting in the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and integrations. Collaborating with the front-end team to implement user interfaces using Flutter will be essential to ensure a seamless user experience. Furthermore, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed features and APIs will be part of your routine tasks. To qualify for this internship, you should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures is required, along with basic experience in backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java. Familiarity with RESTful API design and development, as well as basic knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks, particularly Flutter, is necessary. Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and previous internship or project experience in software development are preferred. You should possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
