Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer at Maitri AI, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining backend services using FastAPI. Your role will involve implementing API authentication, authorization, and security best practices while working with SQLAlchemy for ORM-based database management. You will design, query, and optimize databases using MySQL, utilizing NumPy and Pandas for data processing and transformation. Collaboration with frontend developers to seamlessly integrate APIs and maintaining CI/CD workflows with GitHub will be crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to research and integrate Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions such as Gemini AI and OpenAI. Troubleshooting and resolving backend-related issues, staying updated with the latest advancements in backend technologies and AI, are also key parts of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 2 years of experience in backend development, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field, proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI. Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy and MySQL databases, a strong understanding of API authentication and security principles, and experience working with GitHub for version control and collaboration are essential. Preferred skills include experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI models, knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, and exposure to cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
