Description
As a Backend Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs. You will work on optimizing and managing relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases. Your role will also involve deploying, monitoring, and managing applications on AWS/GCP to ensure high availability and performance. Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes will be crucial for managing the infrastructure effectively. Ensuring security and performance will be a key aspect of your job. You will implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and data security. Additionally, you will guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enhance development workflows. Collaborating with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to ship features will be essential for cross-team collaboration. Scalability and optimization are vital components of your role. You will be tasked with improving system performance and designing efficient data pipelines for high traffic scenarios. Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments will also be part of your responsibilities. In terms of technical requirements, you should have strong expertise in Golang, Node.js, Python, or Java. Experience with microservices architecture and API design is necessary. Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) is crucial. Proficiency in AWS/GCP and cloud-based deployments is expected. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS would be advantageous. Familiarity with Elasticsearch and analytics platforms is a plus. Exposure to AI/ML integrations (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain) would be considered a bonus.
