Job Description: Were looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our core tech team. Youll work closely with frontend developers, ML engineers, and product leads to build scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems powering our fitness intelligence platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and data pipelines.

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

• Integrate third-party APIs and microservices.

• Collaborate with frontend and AI/ML teams to define and deliver full-stack solutions.

• Implement best practices in security, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD. • Participate in code reviews and agile sprints.

• Document software architecture and system workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.

• Strong programming skills in Python (with Django or FastAPI), Node.js, or Go.

• Solid understanding of Django frameworks, including ORM, REST framework (DRF), authentication, and middleware.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket protocols.

• Proficiency in databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Git-based workflow and agile development practices.

• Experience with unit testing and integration testing using tools such as Pytest, Jest, or Mocha.

• Understanding of backend performance optimization, including use of caching mechanisms like Redis and application monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
