Backend Developer (Node JS)

Job Description: You will be working as a skilled Backend Developer (Node JS) for Quantiply, a fully automated, fast, and reliable algo trading platform for Nifty & Bank Nifty, Futures & Options. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and optimize high-performance backend systems. You will be working on scalable server-side architectures that power advanced trading strategies, real-time execution, live monitoring, and performance-boosting features for intraday traders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and develop complex, high-performance Node.js applications - Build and maintain scalable server-side architectures using Node.js and related technologies - Design and optimize database schemas and queries for both NoSQL and SQL databases - Integrate third-party services and APIs while ensuring system reliability - Optimize application performance through profiling and monitoring - Handle high-traffic scenarios and implement them - Participate in system design discussions and architectural decision-making - Establish and enforce coding standards and development workflows Must have: - 4+ years experience in shipping high-quality Node.js code to production - Fluency in Node.js frameworks like Express, Fastify, Koa, NestJS - Experience with real-time applications - WebSockets, Socket.io - Proficiency in database technologies like MongoDB and Redis - Git mastery - version control & branching strategies - Good understanding of distributed systems concepts - how they work & scale Good to Have: - Message queues (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS) - Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) - Monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus) - Containerisation (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes) About Uplers: Uplers" goal is to make hiring reliable, simple, and fast.
