Backend Developer -Node JS

As a Backend Developer at OPPAM Wellness Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health platform's mission of breaking stigma and making therapy accessible to all. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Database & Performance Optimization: - Build and maintain relational data models using PostgreSQL/MySQL - Optimize queries and implement caching and background jobs using Redis/Kafka/RabbitMQ - DevOps & Deployment: - Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure high availability and scalability through containerization (Docker) and cloud deployments on AWS/GCP - Code Quality & Compliance: - Write clean, testable Node.js code while maintaining data privacy and adhering to HIPAA/GDPR compliance - Collaborate effectively with frontend and mobile teams to ensure code quality To excel in this role, you should possess: - 15 years of Node.js expertise with a strong background in backend development - Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs such as Sequelize or TypeORM - Experience in DevOps practices including Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, caching, and message queues - Strong cloud deployment skills with AWS/GCP and a knack for problem-solving and performance tuning - Additional skills in GraphQL or gRPC APIs, Redis/Kafka/RabbitMQ, Kubernetes/Terraform, and infrastructure automation will be beneficial Your soft skills, such as clear communication, collaboration across teams, and an ownership mindset, will be key to your success in this role.
