Backend Developer-Intern

You will be working as a Backend Developer in developing Cloud-Based Web Applications, specifically related to Mortgage Finance industry. Your responsibilities will include: - Working as a part of a team on various types of web applications - Solving real-world problems by implementing, designing, and helping develop new Enterprise class Products from ground-up - Demonstrating expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Micro-services architecture using Lambdas, SQS, SNS, MySQL Databases, Dockers, and containerized solutions - Working with Relational and No-SQL databases and scalable design - Writing elegant and maintainable code to solve challenging problems - Delivering rapid iterations of software based on user feedback and metrics - Contributing to key decisions on product and technology direction - Actively adopting frameworks, standards, and new technologies Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - Must have experience in Node.js & React - Worked on a couple of large-scale products delivered on microservices - Strong design skills on microservices and AWS platform infrastructure - Excellent programming skills in Python, Node.js, and Java - Hands-on development experience in rest APIs - Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and availability About the company: Toorak Capital Partners is an integrated lending platform that funds small business purpose residential, multifamily, and mixed-use loans throughout the U.S. and the United Kingdom. They acquire and manage loans directly from private lenders that originate high credit quality loans. This internship is for a duration of 6 months with a stipend of Rs.50,000 per month. Based on your performance during the internship, there is a possibility of conversion to a full-time role. The working hours are from 11 am to 8 pm IST.,
