At Capgemini Engineering, you have the opportunity to join as a Backend Developer with expertise in .NET Core, SQL Server, and Microservices architecture. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using .NET Core, as well as building and optimizing microservices-based architectures for scalability and performance. You will collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Troubleshooting, debugging, resolving issues, and contributing to architectural discussions will also be part of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core. - Build and optimize microservices-based architectures for scalability and performance. - Develop robust database solutions using SQL Server, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and query optimization. - Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software. - Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and non-production environments. - Contribute to architectural discussions and propose technical improvements. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development. - Strong expertise in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core. - Solid working knowledge of SQL Server, database design, and query optimization. - Experience in developing and deploying microservices. - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed system design. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. **Good-to-Have Skills:** - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). - Knowledge of messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
