Role Overview: At Capgemini Invent, you will work as an inventive transformation consultant, blending strategic, creative, and scientific capabilities to deliver cutting-edge solutions to clients. Your role will involve working in an IC role or leading and mentoring a team of developers in adherence to best practices in BI development and data visualization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, design impactful dashboards using Power BI, and automate data extraction and transformation using Python. Additionally, you will oversee ETL processes, integrate data from various sources into Power BI, enhance reports with Python scripts, and ensure strong data governance and user-friendly visualization practices. Your responsibilities will also include leading the creation of RFPs for BI tools and solutions, managing POV exercises, and developing MVPs for iterative feedback and faster delivery. Furthermore, you will leverage your experience in people management and client engagement to build lasting relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Work in an IC role or lead and mentor a team of developers in BI development and data visualization - Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and design impactful dashboards using Power BI - Use Python to automate data extraction and transformation - Oversee ETL processes and integrate data from various sources into Power BI - Enhance Power BI reports with Python scripts for advanced analytics and custom calculations - Ensure strong data governance, quality, and user-friendly visualization practices - Lead the creation of RFPs for BI tools and solutions, manage POV exercises, and develop MVPs for BI solutions - Develop MVPs to quickly deliver core BI functionalities, allowing for iterative feedback and faster delivery - Lead teams, manage priorities, and build lasting client relationships Qualifications Required: - 9+ years of experience in DWH/BI domain with a focus on Power BI development - Proficiency in at least two BI tools such as Qlik, Power BI, Tableau - Experience in 2-3 complete life cycle implementations of BI projects - Experienced in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps development, Power Automate, and Dataverse - Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases - Basic Python skills for ETL automation, with experience in Pandas, NumPy, and pyodbc - Knowledge of Alteryx, Informatica, or other ETL tools - Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) - Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop or Spark - Familiarity with AI-powered assistant tools (e.g., GenAI copilot) Additional Company Details: Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner with a strong heritage of over 55 years.
