We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, and resourceful product manager to join our Investment Services Technology team. This team handles technology for finance and operations, such as post-trade activities, portfolio and fund accounting, and investor relations. The role offers an inclusive and dynamic environment. We aim to improve our technology for better efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate should understand financial markets and have experience in product management and process optimization. WHAT YOU&aposLL DO DAY-TO-DAY: You will work closely with business users, software developers, product managers, and technology leadership teams to conceptualize and develop solutions to improve middle back-office systems. You will understand business needs, define technical requirements, prioritize product roadmaps, support current applications, and align product goals and priorities with leadership, business users, and development teams. You will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across financial operations, Arcesium, and technology teams. Additionally, you will gather customer feedback to refine the product and prioritize features based on impact and feasibility. You will have ample opportunities to partner closely with global leaders on our Information Technology, Finance and Operations teams. WHO WERE LOOKING FOR: Basic Qualifications: A Bachelors degree or higher, along with at least 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience of product management Excellent written and verbal communication skills, an aptitude for translating the needs of non-technical systems users into technical requirements, and the judgment to exercise a high level of discretion with confidential information A knack for solving open-ended problems, analytical and data driven decision-making skills, and the ability to see how small details interrelate to impact the bigger picture (i.e., systems thinking) A willingness to take initiative and dive into details as well as the ability to manage projects to completion The ability to balance various stakeholder needs and reach consensus, with a customer service mindset, and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to investment management or fund accounting domain An understanding of back-office processes of a hedge fund or asset management firm (trade settlement, reconciliation, portfolio accounting, fund accounting, investor relations) Interested candidates can apply through our website: https://www.deshawindia.com/recruit/jobs/Adv/Link/LdPMISTMar25 We encourage candidates with relevant experience looking to restart their careers after a break to apply for this position.
