Back-End Engineer/Developer Job Description Relevant Yrs. of experience5+ Mandatory skills5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer/Developer Experience in API development and owning the technical implementation of APIs within a Scrum Team Design development of cross functional API multi-platform application systems Experienced developer who developed REST API, serverless and event driven applications, FaaS Hands-on experience in Java, Quarkus, GraphQL, JavaScript, Python, Kotlin Collaborate with other platforms to ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery of projects. Experience in Micro Services Architecture Experience with cloud services such as AWS EC2, Azure AKS as well as container platform such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience in DevOps with exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible Experience with KNative, Hasura, JWT, Helm Desired skillsProblem Solving Skills Creativity, resourcefulness, lateral thinking Big-Picture Thinking Maintainability, Testability, Usability, Performance etc. Positive Attitude Demonstrate passion for the task and achieving effective solution. Communication Skills explain, influence, listen, document thinking. Independence - Ability to work and deliver unsupervised, a self-starter. Demonstrates discipline in pursuing solutions through to resolution and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes. A broad technical knowledge across operating system, networking, distributed computing, cloud and development tools is expected. Experience with test management tools, such as Azure DevOps Test Plan is highly desirable. Experience with both Unix and Windows host operating systems, scripting (Bash/Shell or Powershell), and networking is desirable. The candidate must possess full-stack development experience along with strong soft skills, including eagerness to continue learning, and the ability to apply knowledge effectively.
