Role & responsibilities: Understanding of the broad economy/sector/industry trends/markets Undertake end-to-end sector/industry research or customized research assignments Collect data on various parameters of a particular industry through different publicly available sources and maintain the database Analyse and interpret available information/data into actionable insights and trends Preparation of the reports / short articles/presentations Contribute to regular monthly and bespoke research assignments, event-driven reports Analysis of industry dynamics under various parameters relevant to the industry, and provides an outlook Undertake primary and secondary research using both quantitative and qualitative analysis Keep a watch on various government policies/initiatives and market developments that would have a major impact on the industry Gather industry-relevant news and developments Should be ready to work under tight deadlines Should be ready to travel on short notice Skills Required: An analytical bent of mind with the ability to work with financial numbers. Basic knowledge of the financial markets Attention to detail Ability to interpret data, excellent analytical skills, and forecasting Should be able to read and interpret financial statements (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements) of Corporates and FIs thoroughly Good command over both written and spoken English, and should possess report writing skills Proficient in the MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Group: B2K Analytics Sales Group is responsible for helping its clients build scale and enhance business outcomes. The sales team services B2B client segments: Banks (Corporate Credit, Risk, Lending), NBFCs, Corporates, Merchant Banks, AMCs, Lending platforms, Fintechs. The Role: As a sales team member, the candidate will focus on generating new business across all of B2K analytics solutions driven by bespoke research (macro/industry/sector/thematic), consulting assignments pre & post IPO mandates (corporate profiling, fund monitoring, bespoke research), Techno-Economic Viability (TEV), Credit Assessment, Enterprise/Brand grading, Risk Model solutions. There might be instances of receiving a few incoming leads from its group company, Brickwork Ratings. The candidate will manage the pipeline based on inbound and outbound leads. Target clients would span across the BFSI sector banks, merchant banks, CAs, CS, advisors, wealth management firms, and national distributor platforms. Were looking for someone with hands-on initiative, strong interpersonal & communication skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships. This position will be based at our office location in Mumbai. Business Relationships: Banks, NBFCs, Corporates, Fintechs, Lending Platforms, Merchant Banks, CA/CS, Wealth & Asset Managers Responsibilities: Drive new sales covering prospecting, qualifying & securing opportunities, and build/maintain healthy pipeline opportunities. Attend and present at key industry forums/events in order to network with prospects and clients. Manage the contracting of new business by collaborating and working closely with the Finance team, as well as help with the recovery of outstanding/pending client dues Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new segments from time to time. Requirements: The individual we are seeking must have a post-graduate degree in finance or marketing with excellent communication & interpersonal skills. The candidate must possess any or all of below skills: Minimum of 8 to 12 years of work experience in banking, financial services, research, consulting, and credit rating organizations & worked on selling bespoke research solutions Must be able to give client presentations and actively engage in business follow-ups Have relevant exposure or have a relationship with Banks, NBFCs, CAs/CS, Corporations Have strong relationship management and communication skills Have solid knowledge of financial markets, credit, and research (investment) products Be highly self-motivated, result-oriented, persuasive, and tenacious Must be a self-starter and possess an entrepreneurial mindset Prior experience in selling bespoke research as well as TEVs, Due Diligence solutions is preferred Strong analytical skills & ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of our solutions and internal sales support systems are desired Fluent in English (verbal and written)
