Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

EDI Development & Standards:
Work with B2Bi SI/EDI processes, including EDIFACT, X12, and other EDI formats. Read and understand customer EDI specifications, write functional (mapping) specs, and develop mappings.
Sterling Integration:
Perform mapping creation/changes, trading partner (TP) setup, and process configuration on IBM Sterling. Experience with Sterling VAN preferred.
Communication Protocols:
Understand and manage communication protocols like SFTP, AS2, X.400, etc.
Unix & System Commands:
Use Unix commands for EDI process support and troubleshooting.
SAP Integration:
Configure SAP EDI customer setups and support SAP order processing. Strong knowledge in SAP SD module and integration concepts (IDocs, ALE).
Trading Partner Management:
Configure trading partners, develop mappings, troubleshoot IDOC failures, and implement proactive monitoring.
Testing & Validation:
Participate in the testing and validation of customer EDI mappings to ensure requirements are met.
Knowledge Management & Strategic Planning:
Support design, implementation, and maintenance of knowledge management solutions, perform gap analysis, and contribute to strategic roadmap/blueprint development.
