Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth across media, events, and content solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B media sales, sponsorships, and client servicing. This is a key position that involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities 1- Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive sponsorship and media sales across Tech Disruptor Media’s events and digital platforms. Pitch content and brand solution offerings to new and existing clients. Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets. 2- Client Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of agreed services. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. 3- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-ups. 4- Go-To-Market Strategy: Contribute actively to the GTM strategy for new launches and flagship properties. Provide market intelligence and client feedback to refine offerings. 5- Travel & Client Meetings: Travel across different regions in India to pitch services, close deals, and build relationships. 6- Operational Excellence: Prepare effective sales presentations using MS PowerPoint. We are now looking to onboard a dynamic and experienced Group Editor to lead our editorial voice and drive our next phase of growth. Role Overview As the Group Editor, you will be the editorial lead for Tech Disruptor Media, responsible for shaping content direction, building credibility in the tech and BFSI community, mentoring a young editorial team, and collaborating on strategic content IPs and event-based platforms. This role calls for a newsroom veteran with a deep understanding of the intersection of technology, financial services, telecom, and innovation. Key Responsibilities Editorial Leadership • Define and execute the editorial strategy across digital and physical formats (articles, features, newsletters, interviews, podcasts, etc.) • Lead and mentor a team of editors, correspondents, and contributors to deliver high- quality and timely content. • Ensure content excellence, factual accuracy, thought leadership, and relevance to the target audience of CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and business leaders. Industry Coverage & Thought Leadership • Cover developments in BFSI, enterprise technology, fintech, telecom, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and other disruptive verticals. • Build editorial calendars and oversee deep-dive features, interviews, and opinion pieces with top tech executives and change-makers. • Stay on top of emerging trends and break down complex tech themes for a senior, decision-maker audience. Collaboration & Innovation • Work closely with the product, marketing, events, and partnerships teams to align editorial with business goals. • Contribute to branded content strategies, editorial partnerships, and client-driven content when aligned with editorial integrity. • Explore new content formats including video, podcasting, infographics, and data storytelling. Desired Candidate Profile • 12+ years of editorial experience in business/tech journalism, especially covering BFSI, telecom, enterprise tech, and innovation. • Previous experience in leading an editorial team or managing a newsroom. • Excellent writing, editing, and interviewing skills with a sharp news sense. • A deep network in the tech/BFSI/CXO community. • Ability to balance editorial independence with brand vision and audience engagement. • Exposure to or interest in content for B2B media platforms and events. • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
