Minimum Qualification and Experience: a) BBA in Hospital Management with at least 5 years experience in Hospital Administration. b) Graduate (Medical / Science Stream) with Diploma in Hospital Management with at least 7 years experience in Hospital Administration. c) Graduate (Medical / Science Stream) with Certificate in Hospital Management with at least 7 years experience in Hospital Administration. Prerequisite Knowledge & Experience: a) NABH and its Audit. b) Hospital Operations. c) Financial Management. d) Material Management. e) Commercial Procedures. f) Building & Equipment Maintenance. Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance to NABH norms. • Stay up-to-date with healthcare regulations and implement them, as deemed necessary. • Develop and implement effective policies for all operational procedures towards proper hospital management. • Manage day to day functioning / operations. • Scrutinize patient feedback and address their issues. • Oversee proper functioning of outsourced House-Keeping services. • Supervise effective functioning of all Departments and performance of their staff (through their Departmental Heads). • Organize proper custody & storage of all medical and employee records. • Address queries & staff grievances, including that of doctors. • Ensure proper training of new employees and periodic training thereafter. • Conduct second level interview for recruiting nurses, technicians, front office and administrative staff and final selection of ward boys, ayahs & watchmen. • Monitor expenses and suggest cost-effective alternatives. • Ensure prompt ordering and stocking of medical and office supplies. • Scrutinize all commercial offers (T&Cs and costing) and pursue early closure after optimum value analysis. • Ensuring tidiness / cleanliness / building maintenance of entire hospital premises and proper functioning of all equipment, by timely repair / AMC / CMC and their periodic renewal. • Recommend optimizing / augmenting hospital resources and pursue its implementation. • Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct and report violations / serious concerns to those concerned.
