Job Description

We are seeking a candidate with over 7 years of experience in the role of a Data Engineer. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in using various software/tools, including Spark, Kafka, Spark-Streaming, Azure SQL, relational SQL, NoSQL databases, Synapse Pipeline, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Azure Function, ADLS, Scala, Python, and Terraform. Responsibilities of an ETL Data Engineer include designing and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture, creating complex data sets to meet business requirements, implementing process improvements, building infrastructure for data extraction and loading, developing analytics tools for actionable insights, collaborating with different teams to address technical issues, and enhancing data systems functionality. The qualifications for a successful Data Engineer include advanced SQL knowledge, experience in building and optimizing big data pipelines, root cause analysis skills, unstructured data handling, data transformation expertise, and project management capabilities. The candidate should also be adept at working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. The desired experience level for this role is between 4.5 to 6 years, with primary skills in Data Engineering and additional proficiencies in Kafka, Python, Scala, ETL, Apache Spark, and Azure Data Factory.
