Role & responsibilities Architect, implement, and manage end-to-end Azure infrastructure solutions , including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security. Lead on-prem to Azure migrations using tools like Azure Migrate and ASR. Design and enforce Azure governance using Blueprints, Policies, RBAC, and naming/tagging strategies. Optimize cloud cost and performance through pricing models, reservations, tagging, and budget alerts . Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Sentinel. Integrate Azure with on-premises environments including AD, DNS, File Shares, and VPN/ExpressRoute. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, Terraform , and scripting (PowerShell, Bash). Preferred candidate profile 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience . Strong expertise in on-prem infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, AD, GPO, VMware/Hyper-V). Expert knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, identity, and automation . Deep hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts). Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or similar. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell , Bash ). Strong command of Azure pricing , cost optimization strategies, and FinOps principles. Skilled in setting up hybrid cloud architecture with seamless connectivity and identity federation. Familiar with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, FedRAMP). At least 3-5 years of experience in managing IT projects, with a solid understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure, services, and architecture. Strong track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or higher is a plus. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile or Scrum certifications are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure services, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage. Experience with cloud migration strategies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Azure governance and security best practices. Azure DevOps Engineer Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days per week from Office) What You Will Do: . We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the further development and implementation of advanced cloud-based solutions on Legal and General's Microsoft Azure platform. The candidate also needs to be proficient with DevOps and DevSecOps processes and practices, with a strong knowledge of GitHub, including GitHub Actions and infrastructure as code scaffolding, particularly Terraform. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and deployment of enterprise-wide azure solutions, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements, polices, principals and standards and are secure, scalable, and reliable. Oversee the integration of security tooling into Azure deployments to enhance security posture and compliance (a knowledge of Wiz will be beneficial, but not essential) Utilize GitHub for source control management and collaborate with development teams to implement GitHub Actions for automating workflows. Drive cloud migration strategies, including assessment, planning, and execution, with a focus on security and best practices.
