Azure FinOps Analyst, Infrastructure & Cloud

As an Azure FinOps Analyst at Magna, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs. Your responsibilities will include analyzing cloud usage, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the IT and Infrastructure teams to understand cloud usage patterns and develop recommendations for cost optimization. Additionally, you will prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards for senior management, track cloud cost trends and key performance indicators, and assist in the development of cloud cost management policies and best practices. It is essential to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company leverages the most cost-effective cloud solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in financial analysis, preferably within the technology or cloud services industry, with at least 3 years of experience. You should possess a strong understanding of cloud cost management tools and platforms such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and Google Cloud Billing. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis using Excel, SQL, and BI tools like Tableau and Power BI is required. A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience with financial analysis using Excel spreadsheets and familiarity with Azure Cloud is a plus. You should also demonstrate the ability to work effectively with global teams supporting global initiatives.
