Job Description

Azure Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy cloud applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
Build and maintain Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure API Management.
Develop microservices and container-based applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Instances.
Implement secure integrations with databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.) and third-party services.
Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot applications running on Azure.
Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and governance standards.
Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Azure solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Azure Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, App Service, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, etc.).
Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Python, or Node.js.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns.
Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management (Azure AD, Managed Identities).
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, ARM/Bicep/Terraform templates).
Good knowledge of monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics).

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate / Solutions Architect certification.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
