Azure Databricks Admin

The Azure Databricks Admin is responsible for managing and maintaining the Databricks environment on Azure. This role involves ensuring the platform's availability, performance, and security. The admin will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to support their data processing and analytics needs. Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor Azure Databricks clusters, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Implement and maintain security policies, access controls, and data governance within Databricks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Databricks clusters, jobs, and notebooks.
• Automate Databricks environment tasks using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Manage user access, permissions, and workspace configurations.
• Monitor and optimize Databricks costs.
• Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to support their workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Databricks features and Azure services.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for Databricks.
• Provide training and support to users on Databricks best practices.
