Azure Data Engineer

As an Azure Data Engineer strong in Azure Synapse, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Synapse. Your role will involve working with SQL databases to optimize queries and ensure efficient data processing. Additionally, you will develop and manage data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting, providing production support for data pipelines and reports. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. It will be crucial for you to ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data pipelines. Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on Azure technologies. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, and Data Warehousing is essential. Strong expertise in SQL development, query optimization, and database performance tuning is required. You should possess experience providing production support for data pipelines and reports, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Preferred qualifications include experience with Power BI, Power Query, and report development, knowledge of data security best practices, exposure to Jet Analytics, and familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines.
