As a Data Engineer- Microsoft Fabric at HARMAN, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data engineering projects, including enterprise data hubs, Big Data platforms, data lake houses, and more. Your role will involve creating data pipelines to streamline data science projects, designing and implementing data architecture solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to identify data requirements, and ensuring effective data integration, transformation, and loading across various platforms and systems. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing data governance policies, evaluating new technologies to enhance data management processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for data security. To excel in this role, you should have the ability to evaluate, design, and develop ETL jobs and data integration approaches, along with cloud native data platform experience in AWS or the Microsoft stack. You should stay updated on the latest data trends, possess a robust knowledge of ETL, data transformation, and data standardization approaches, and be able to lead and guide a team of data engineers effectively. Additionally, you should have experience in working on data and analytics solutions, a strong educational background in computer science or related fields, and a proven track record in creating data and analytics solutions.
