Azure Data Engineer

As a skilled Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting cloud-based data platforms that facilitate advanced analytics, data science, and reporting. Your role will involve integrating multiple data sources, optimizing data models, and constructing robust ETL pipelines on Azure. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain cloud data pipelines and models using Azure - Integrate on-prem and cloud-based data sources - Build and optimize data models for performance and scalability - Utilize Azure SQL, Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake for ETL workflows - Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI - Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions - Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata using Azure Purview - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams - Ensure adherence to best practices in security, performance, and data governance Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data, Computer Science, or related fields - 3-6 years of experience in data engineering roles - Azure certifications (preferred, not mandatory) - Prior experience in mining or large-scale operations is a bonus In addition to technical skills, soft skills required for this role include a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, good communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical teams, and a self-driven attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.,
