Role & responsibilities Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to support application development and deployment. Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, and make necessary adjustments. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Automate routine tasks such as infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor for security vulnerabilities and apply patches or updates as necessary. Set up monitoring tools and dashboards to track system performance, availability, and security. Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis. Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications. Communicate effectively with stakeholders about system status, updates, and any issues. Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and incident responses. Create and maintain knowledge bases, runbooks, and training materials. Mentor and train junior engineers and team members. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred 4+ years of industry experience in Cloud and DevOps Operation Cloud Fundamentals:- Understanding of cloud architecture, services, and deployment models. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):- Familiarity with IaC principles and tools for automating infrastructure provisioning. Scripting:- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Networking:- Basic knowledge of networking principles, including VPC, DNS, Routing, VPN, and load balancing. Security:- Awareness of security best practices and principles for cloud environments. Problem-Solving:- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Collaboration:- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Good Communication:- Ensure clear, timely collaboration between development, operations, and stakeholders to streamline workflows Documentation:- Maintain detailed, up-to-date records of processes, configurations, and deployments to ensure consistency, support onboarding Certifications:- Azure and AWS Associate level certificate Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM). Experience with CosmosDB and integrating it with web applications. Proficient in deploying applications using Azure Web App Services. Understanding of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Azure Front Door for securing web applications. Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Bicep, ARM templates).
