Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the

  Azure strategy and operations

  within the Shared Services Tower, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments.
• Provide deep

  technical guidance

  on Azure services including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and identity management.
• Architect and govern

  enterprise-grade Azure landing zones

  , subscription management, VNET architecture, and RBAC/Policy enforcement.
• Design and implement

  Azure governance and compliance frameworks

  , aligned with ISO, SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards.
• Drive

  cloud financial management

  , including Azure cost optimization, usage tracking, reserved instances planning, and chargeback models.
• Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, DevOps, and application teams to deliver

  cloud transformation projects

  .
• Lead automation and Infrastructure-as-Code efforts using tools like

  Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates

  .
• Oversee

  monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management

  using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, etc.
• Collaborate with

  customers, architects, and delivery teams

  to design solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Mentor and build cloud capability within the organization through best practices, documentation, and technical training.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure/cloud environments, with at least 5 years of deep technical experience on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong technical expertise in core Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Key Vault, and more.
• Proven experience architecting and operating Azure multi-subscription and enterprise-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost management tools like Azure Cost Management + Billing, and Azure Advisor.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and automation using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Sound knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure + AWS/GCP).
• Background in IT consulting, managed services, or global shared services delivery.
• Exposure to Microsoft licensing, hybrid setups (Azure Arc), and private cloud integration.
• Graduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
