Job Description: Interview Process: 1.First level of interview will be virtual round. 2.Second/Fianl level of interview will be in Aziro office(Chennai/Bangalore/Pune/Noida). Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Jira Contractor with deep expertise in Jira Cloud migrations, particularly at enterprise scale. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience planning, executing, and optimizing complex Jira Server/Data Center to Cloud migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute the migration of Jira Server/Data Center instances to Jira Cloud. Perform detailed assessments of current Jira environments including apps, workflows, permissions, custom fields, automation, and integrations. Design and validate migration strategies, including phased approaches or parallel environments. Use Atlassian tools and REST APIs to perform the migration. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including developers, admins, project managers, and IT teams to understand business requirements and minimize post-migration impacts. Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues, data inconsistencies, and compatibility challenges. Conduct post-migration validation, testing, and performance tuning. Create documentation to internal teams for ongoing Jira Cloud administration. Work closely with Atlassian Support as needed to resolve technical blockers. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira (Server/Data Center and Cloud). Proven experience with at least one large-scale Jira Cloud migration (10,000+ users or 1000+ projects). Strong understanding of Jira project configurations, workflows, schemes, permission models, and customizations. Experience with JCMA, Atlassian APIs, and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash). Familiarity with Atlassian Access, user provisioning, SSO, and enterprise-grade security configurations. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Atlassian certifications.
