Job Title: Financial Director Location: Singapore Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Director to lead the company’s financial strategy, governance, and operations. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic financial leadership and advice to senior management and the board. Oversee all aspects of financial management including accounting, treasury, budgeting, and forecasting. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficiency and compliance. Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function to support business decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local and international accounting standards. Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation to support operational and strategic goals. Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements. Partner with other departments to support business expansion, mergers & acquisitions, and investment initiatives. Identify risks and opportunities to enhance financial performance and business sustainability. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) required. Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and compliance. Proven track record in financial planning, business partnering, and strategic leadership. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High level of integrity, business acumen, and leadership capability. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in multinational or regional organizations. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced financial modeling tools. Exposure to M&A, investment management, or business transformation projects.
