As a Cloud Maintenance Analyst for IoT at PTC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the coordination and execution of maintenance activities in cloud-hosted environments. Your primary focus will be on maximizing customer environment availability, performance, and security through activities such as OS patching, core and third-party updates, security patching, and implementing the latest settings and tuning recommendations. In this hands-on, operations-focused role, you will work in a 24/7 environment, which may include rotational weekend and on-call duties. We are looking for someone who is early in their IT or cloud journey, enjoys structured work, problem-solving, and is eager to take increasing ownership over time. Your responsibilities will include building and managing rolling maintenance schedules for cloud environments, orchestrating the execution of maintenance activities, coordinating with internal teams, creating change requests, and maintaining accurate CMDB records. You will also be involved in analyzing successes/failures, creating reports, identifying trends for operational improvement, and suggesting automation to enhance efficiency. To excel in this role, you should have at least 1-6 years of experience in IT operations, support, or coordination roles, knowledge of enterprise systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, or JIRA, and proficiency in Excel. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, planning/scheduling background, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, management, and customers are essential. Experience or certifications in public cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and familiarity with IoT platforms such as Thingworx, Axeda, or IoT Hub are considered advantageous.
